Supporting Feet & Improving Posture

Orthotics are custom-made inserts that comfortably fit into shoes or sandals. They are designed to support and improve the functioning of feet, and help re-establish normal mechanics for the feet, ankles, knees, hips and/or spine.

Orthotics are prescribed to patients suffering from chronic foot, lower limb and low back problems or to athletes to help maximize performance during sport. They are often beneficial in the prevention of osteoarthritis of the knees and hips.

Custom Orthotics Created for You

The Doctors at LiveWell have been prescribing Orthotics in the community for many years. The doctors have specialized training in the biomechanics of the foot and take special care in diagnosing any problems you may have. Our Orthotic examination involves an analysis of your spine, gait analysis, thorough evaluation of the biomechanics of the lower extremities and finally traditional casting. This procedure allows us to fashion a truly “custom orthotic” to address each patient’s specific foot problems and/or needs.
